Swayze plays a hood of a father who is tracked down by his two children that he abandoned who are looking for parental guidance after their mother dies. The eldest, a head-strong teen daughter, insists on his help to avoid being placed in foster care and separated from her brother. At first, Swayze resists, but when presented with the site of his kids being carted off by CPS, he decides to take them on the run from the law, looking for a big score which will set them up.
