A group of oddball cheerleaders from Eastern Connecticut College witnesses a murder after one of their competitions. An aging, no-nonsense veteran FBI agent (Tommy Lee Jones) is assigned to the case and has to go undercover as an assistant coach to protect the rambunctious girls from the gunmen determined to knock them off before the group can testify. Used to be called CHEER UP.
