NEO-NOIR
In style and substance, and from the two pictures from it already, this is starting to sound like a heavy duty film-noir. DePalma is most of the time a good directur, but with this subject matter this one is almost a sure hit. Sure, sounds a little like L.A. Confidential (Los Angeles, young cops uncovering corruption and conspiracy within the police department), but that's a good thing, considering how awesome L.A. Confidential was as a neo-noir movie. Here's hoping this one will be a success.
