Yesterday on his Facebook fan page, Vin Diesel revealed a new piece of concept art from RIDDICK, the upcoming third film in the sci-fi adventure franchise no one thought would spawn another sequel.
The above piece is the first element we’ve seen from the film. It’s not much, but it’s cool-looking. Diesel writes:

The Furian… left for dead…
Back in February, a few story details emerged revealing that Riddick would be left for dead on a barren alien planet, encountering things like “trisons” (three-legged bison, naturally) and “mud demons”. Could the above be a mud demon? Perhaps simply a demonic dog of some kind? I don’t know, but I want to shake the hand of the guy who came up with name “trisons” and got it to be written out in an official Hollywood press release. That’s some “I came up with that while stoned” shit right there.
