Watcha gonna do? Mar. 21, 2008
Source: Crackle.com by: Ben Barna

The reason why I, and probably a few other ‘internet movie writers’ write online about movies, is because we can’t be in the movie business ourselves. I’m pretty sure that anyone who writes for a site like this one, wants to be in the biz, but just can’t seem to catch their big break. Maybe it’s because they’re no good? Well thank f*cking God there are people like the SCRIPT COPS patrolling the streets to make sure no one strays from the three-act structure and everyone fulfills their character arcs. What? You have no idea what I’m talking about? Click HERE, and find out. But be warned. If you’re writing shoddy screenplays, you’re probably next.

Extra Tidbit: How many of you out there are trying to write a screenplay?

WELL....
i'm not really a screenwriter, I wrote a screenplay for a high school play, but that was it, I mostly like to write stories, books is what i'm into, and hoping that one day I can publish it, but i'm been to busy.

I also thought about adapting my original screenplay into a book and a motion picture, but like I said, I just don't have the time. Lol.

TOTALLY
I've written over 10,000 screenplays, but I flush them all down the toilet (or light them on fire) because I was so heavily influenced by A River Runs Through It. Plus it's totally cliche to actually get your movies made. So 1990s.

I started writing screenplays when I was in 5th grade. I still have all of them, and my total is now up to 18 full-length features (some are still 1st drafts though, while some are on their 5th). I'm currently enrolled at an art school finishing up my major for Writing for Film and Television. I've never submitted any of my work anywhere, though. I've been waiting until I make my East-to-West Coast move.

Always thinking of ideas...have a few short ideas...one feature that I've been working on for a while too.

ON THE WAY.....
Done a bunch of em'. Short ones, long ones, random ones...finishing my studies in Filmmaking this year and scriptwriting's a big part of it...obviously. Don't know if Hollywood would wanna use any of them though. Oh and fury159, Sandra Bullock isn't random...I had Ian McKellen appear in my dream as Gandalf, get attacked by the Cloverfield monster and turn himself into Magneto. Turned out that Magneto won coz the monster was really a Sentinel in disguise....go figure.

Finishing up one and co-writing another. Funny, I had a Sandra Bullock dream and she told me she read some guys script and it was crap but that mine was so incredible that she had to have me..right there..in the middle of the tire store..talk about random.

Finished one, half way through another, and brainstorming a new one that Sandra Bullock told me was crap, although that was part of a dream and I informed her, "Well, that can't all be 'Premonition'." How random is Sandra Bullock in a dream?

I'm working towards getting my Master's in screenwriting...and am sitting on a project that will probably be a surefire ticket into Hollywood, but mum's the word until it's that time.

YES
Well, short films. Co-wrote one, wrote one myself, directed both.

Working on my first long script.
