While his brother is busy screwing around with vampires, Luke Wilson is downloading some hot action on the web. Wilson and Giovanni Ribisi have signed on to star in MIDDLE MEN, a drama about the birth of adult entertainment on the web (Greatest. Birth. Ever). Wilson will star as a straight-laced businessman who invents an online billing system that he sells to the adult industry. As his business grows he becomes increasingly enticed by starlets and drugs while getting mixed up in a world of mobsters, conmen, federal agents and terrorists, all while trying to stay a good husband and father. I'm guessing Ribisi will play some kind of sleazy porn type as he tends to play sleazy really well. Writer George Gallo (MIDNIGHT RUN, BAD BOYS) is directing the film from a script he wrote. Filming on MIDDLE MEN is set to begin October 20 in Arizona. Wilson is currently filming the indie comedy TENURE while Ribisi just wrapped both AVATAR and PUBLIC ENEMIES.
