The trailer for X-MEN ORIGINS: WOLVERINE premiered this weekend before prints of THE DAY THE EARTH STOOD STILL. As you might imagine, it was bootlegged all across the interwebs shortly thereafter. But today it's online in HD and you can finally see it without having a seizure.

I've heard some mixed things about it but I'm a straight up Wolverine lover from my old "Uncanny X-Men" days and I'm just really excited about it. I do wish they didn't cut the "goddamn" from that line at the end, but other than that, I'm lovin it. But what about you guys? Check it out below or head to the MySpace page to see it in HD.

Because they cut the "goddam" out of the trailer doesn't mean it's not in the movie. I'm sure they had to edit it out due to it not being a redband trailer. I wouldn't be to worried about it.

KuriousJorgie, I'm not sure if you realize this but Marvel actually put out a limited series titled "Origin" about 10 years ago I believe if not more. It was the Wolverine origin. Some of what you saw in that trailer about his childhood was taken from that limited series. Just thought I'd throw that out there.

@SpartanLonewolf. Considering that this movie is about the origin of Wolverine, and taking into account that he's hundreds of years old (he was born in the 19th century) it would make sense that Emma Frost is young, as this takes place long before the X-flicks. Just thought I would point that out.

I love this trailer. I love the dramatic feel to it. And it certainly looks to be delivering in the action (looks like we'll finally get a worthy battle between Wolvie and Sabertooth). I also think that the "flipping guy" is Omega Red; if you look closely you can see tentacles coming out of his arms. I'm still in "wait and see" mode on Gambit. But then, I'm going to this flick for Wolverine, not Gambit.

Looks great and I can't wait to see it!!

Wolverine is gonna be pretty damn good BUT...i really dont like how Ryan Renolds character Deadpool DOES NOT LOOK LIKE DEADPOOL.... you can't give a guy a red tank and 2 black straps for swords on his chest and call him DeadPool!!!!!!...Like I said I am interested in seeing this movie and am hopeful that it is A SHIT LOAD BETTER than the AWFULLNESS of X3 ... but im still skeptical... here's hop...

Looks like another X-sequel: too many characters, little depth or character development.

Gambit looks too pretty to be a cajun thief, and no black eyes with red pupils, LAME. Emma Frost looks like she just finished her sophmore year of high school. Deadpool is Ryan Reynolds. Blob looks like a washed up ButterBean. Liev is more like vampire with those teeth instead of Victor Creed...

Not gonna bother wasting my money on another Marvel failure. Marvel should stop any X-related movies now and concentrate on the Avengers. Then reboot X-men in 10 years.

Horrible looking. All the effects and shots look bad. It looks like a made for tv thingy. It's real bad. This movie should have been on the level of History of Violence or the guy who did Bourne because this is gross looking...u can tell the lack of Singer tho i hated his X verse. still...

The trailer looks decent. Some parts are pretty damn badass and Hugh Jackman is portraying Wolverine at his best on screen. Gambit looks cool (still not sure how he's even there at that age), and Sabretooth could look a lil' more vicious. He's too human. Wolverine's my favorite character next to Batman but I'm not gonna' build up expectations. The last time I did that for an X-Men movie by 20th...

It's obviously easier to do with characters grounded in reality like Batman and Iron Man, but I do hope that this director has found the way to bridge the gap. The last x-man movie was painful to watch during its emotional parts, but was a good ride. I'm just basically hoping that this could live up to W...

The reason wolverine has bone claws is becuase there was storyline where Magneto rips the adamantium out of wolverine's body and after he recovered he had these bone claws. Marvel forgot they had always said his claws were adamantium given to him by weapon X and were flooded with fanmail asking how has he got these bone claws. This caused Marvel to try and cover this major screw up by writing t...

first why does he have claws as a kid? I thought they were added durign the experiments.
Second, i dont think he volunteered for the experiments they should have made it more liek he was kidnapped and tortured into it.

This really reinvigorated my interest in the flick. Did anyone else get a slight Batman Begins vibe here? I just hope they don't do as much slow motion as the trailer suggests. Also, was I the only one who caught a young Storm in there?

Yes! Looks grimmer and more realistic than the X-movies. And like there might be more of a story. Great actors as Sabretooth and Stryker, much better hair on Wolverine than the gelled version of younder.

Looks pretty fucking good to me..
Even though the voice over reminded me a bit of Liam Neeson's Ducard character from "Batman Begins".

Let's hope they didn't tone this film down too much like it was rumored Fox wanted to do. Looks pretty intense.

it looks ok... i dunno.. I'd much rather prefer an X-Men IV with Singer back to clean up the mess from the third.

But if this is all I can get.. then it's better then nothing and doesn't look too bad.

Hell to the mutha' f***in yeah! I've been an x-men fan for over 20 years and finally it looks like they're getting it right. Taking origins way back to the early years is the right move. I hope they cover his time in Japan where he learns the Samurai code. Mister_NOIR, I hear what you're saying about Schreiber, I wasn't too sure if I was going to like him in the part, but damn if he hasn't hit ...

It's the character traits that need to be caught, not just the physical appearance. I've always been a Liv Schreiber fan and I am impressed thus far. I had similar reservations when Jackman was picked for Wolverine, and I'm glad he didn't disappoint. Can't wait to see this on the big screen. Peace!

This is gonna stomp loads and loads of ass. It almost looks like the Batman Begins of the X-Men franchise.

A couple of things:

1) Fanboys are never going to be 100% happy with how Gambit is portrayed. Somebody, somewhere will always find a way to bitch and moan about it. Personally, I think the dude they've got looks pretty cool.

2) Same goes for Sab...

That looks amazing. Still not convinced by the Gambit, but everything else looks right on. I didn't know they were putting Blob in, or Emma Frost.

The last part was what really got me tho. I know some aren't too keen on Liev playing Sabretooth, but I'm for it.

Oh, and it be nice to see more Ryan Reynolds as Deadpool.

i'm torn on this on parts look good but some parts look bad. one thing i'm liking they got more action then any of the x-men movies. i hated bryan singers first two movies they had no action and didnt follow the story or even portray someof the characters right i'm not even gona talk about bret the rat cuz he destroied. all superhero movie have to have michael bay action in them it just has to ...

Saw TDTESS on Saturday, I can't remember the last time I saw a trailer this big, for the very first time in theatres. Just goes to show how huge a part the internet's had on our movie-going lives, eh.

Loved the trailer, as a fan of the X-Men films, I'm definitely there at the midnight showing.
