As far as the length goes, he always seems to keep them shorter than he originally intends to. I mean, look at Mallrats. It was originally over 2 hours long, and the first 30 minutes weren't really all that awesome. He cut it down and it rocked.
And is it just me or is anybody else stoked to see Jason Mewes as somebody other than Jay and Jeff Anderson as somebody other than Randall? Should be stellar. |

Love Kevin Smith's stuff, funny as fuck. Preston 79, you need to take your head out of your ass man. As NickDoll said, he creates, writes, directs and usually stars in all his own stuff. The man writes the best comedy dialogue in the movie business, bar none. Know your shit man. P.s It's dialogue, not duologue. And don't gimme that typo nonsense. |

Preston_79, what do you mean, "I hope they didn't let him"? This film, as are all his films, are entirely Kevin Smith. The man has almost free reign to do what he wants because his movies always make more money than they cost. The idea is Kevin Smith's, the Script is Kevin Smith's, The directing is Kevin Smith's, the editing Job is Kevin Smith's (and Scott Mosier's).
Besides, why would you not want Hollywood's best dialog writer to write the dialog? |

Only draw back is that Kevin Smith is directing. I hope they didn't let him write any duologue. |
