Sony Pictures Animation has posted the first character designs from their upcoming film HOTEL TRANSYLVANIA, and they’re all of Dracula. Voiced by Adam Sandler, this Dracula isn’t the one you’re familiar with, as he has a teenage daughter he’s overprotective of. To keep her safe he opens up the titular hotel to house all the world’s famous monsters in peace and quiet.
I don’t about you but I keep picturing this guy hawking some sweetened cereal.
Sandler’s not the only big name in this film, oh no. Kevin James will play Frank (Frankenstein’s monster) and Fran Drescher will voice Eunice, his bride. Cee Lo Green plays Murray, a Mummy who was “once entertainer to the great Pharaohs, now the life of the party, and always feeling the urge to let loose and sing”. David Spade plays Quasimodo.
Horrific already, eh? Steve Buscemi and Molly Shannon are in there as a pair of married werewolves and Andy Samberg will play Jonathan, some regular guy who books the wrong hotel.
Expect HOTEL TRANSYLVANIA to hit next September. Head to Sony Pictures Animation’s Facebook page for more art and spooky-fun marshmallows.
