Boats and Hoes! Adam McKay says that Prestige Worldwide might be making a rap album

He’s got the voice stylings of Fergie and Jesus while the other rocks the f*ck out of the drums. Who are they? None other than Prestige Worldwide!

The fictional group made up for STEP BROTHERS has two members, Brennan Huff (Will Ferrell) and Dale Doback (John C. Reilly). If you remember from the movie, after they become best friends they decide to start a group called Prestige Worldwide. The guys attempt to make a presentation so that someone will invest in the company. The highlight of this presentation is a little video for a song called, “Boats and Hoes”. At the end of the video it shows that Dale and Brennan crashed their dad’s boat. Shit hits the fan and Prestige Worldwide temporarily disband. At the end of the movie fate intervenes and Prestige Worldwide is given a second chance at the Catalina Wine Mixer. POW! The brothers prevail and dazzle everyone with their talents. Prestige Worldwide eventually becomes a real deal karaoke business.

Now that you are up to speed, director and co-writer of STEP BROTHERS Adam McKay tweeted this a few hours ago, “Are we currently working on a Step Bros rap album? Yup.” What? Is he f*cking serious? According to the man, he is. Here’s his most recent tweet, “I wasn’t kidding about the Step Bros rap album. And we just found out we have a crazy big time producer. Mos Def, you up for a guest flow?” Of course he is! If Mos Def gets down with Dave Chappelle, he sure as hell with get down with Ferrell and Reilly.

If this is all true, then I might consider this one of the best days ever.
