Cast revealed for kickboxer reboot; now includes Scott Adkins and Tony Jaa

The upcoming 3D KICKBOXER reboot has added two more cast members to round out the martial arts flick. Scott Adkins (ZERO DARK THIRTY) and Tony Jaa (ONG BAK) will join the previously announced Dave Bautista (GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY), former UFC welterweight champion George St. Pierre (CAPTAIN AMERICA: THE WINTER SOLDIER) and Alain Moussi (X-MEN: DAYS OF FUTURE PAST).

Stephen Fung (TAI CHI HERO) is directing the story that follows Kurt Sloan (Moussi), a talented martial artist who travels to Thailand where he must learn the secrets of the kickboxer to avenge his brother's death at the hands of Tong Po (Bautista).

KICKBOXER is set to feature a variety of over 20 martial arts disciplines; "Kickboxer will display a style of acrobatic, rapid-fire martial arts action that Scott Adkins is increasingly becoming synonymous with," said Brian O’Shea, CEO of The Exchange, the company behind the film. "Along with Tony Jaa, Kickboxer has compiled a talented cast to push the boundaries of the martial arts form." You could say this has turned into a martial arts version of THE EXPENDABLES! That’s a pretty great cast for a remake and in 3D no less; I’ve seen the original, it’s not as good as BLOODSPORT in my opinion, but is anything?

With casting now set in place for the remake of the 1989 Jean-Claude Van Damme movie, what do you guys think?
