Check out the catchy end credit sequence from The Lego Batman Movie

Although it's not quite the ear-worm that "Everything is Awesome" from THE LEGO MOVIE was, "Friends are Family" from THE LEGO BATMAN MOVIE may still manage to get your toe tappin' as we slide into Oscar weekend. Warner Bros. was kind enough to release the end credit sequence from the recent LEGO film for our viewing pleasure, so why not check out "Friends are Family" from Oh, Hush! which features the vocal talents of Will Arnett and Jeff Lewis.

Director Chris McKay spoke with Entertainment Weekly about the musical dance sequence, saying that he wanted "the movie to end with joy. Like, really go over the top and move the needle from Batman’s point of view at the beginning to Robin’s POV by the end. Actually, my dream would have been to make this movie a musical. I think if we had more time, there would have been a version of this movie that would have been a full musical and had more point of view songs like that for sure. But really, we just wanted people to leave the theater smiling and feel good as Batman embraces these people." Speaking of McKay, he's not done with the Batman franchise just yet as it was announced yesterday that he's in talks to take the helm of a live-action Nightwing movie.

THE LEGO BATMAN MOVIE is currently playing in theaters, so make sure to check out a review from our own Chris Bumbray!
