Composite artist shows us horror characters as they were written

This is pretty creepy/cool art right here.

Turns out an artist named Brian J Davis used "a commercially available law enforcement composite sketch software" and descriptions of literary characters to make some freaky ass digital art. His collection showcases what the likes of Regan from THE EXORCIST and Carrie White from CARRIE should look like in real-life.

I have collected a few down below and they are pretty damn freaky I have to say. Go ahead and scroll through them and let us know what you think on Facebook, Twitter, and/or Instagram!

Regan MacNeil, The Exorcist, William Peter Blatty

Her pretty eleven-year-old was asleep…sad, large green eyes grieving in a waiflike face…She looked at her daughter, at the turned-up nose and freckled face…Her daughter’s features were contorting into a malevolent mask: lips pulling tautly into opposite directions…Chris blinked at the mad-staring, grinning face, at the cracked, parched lips and foxlike eyes. She screamed until she fainted…Karras saw the scratch marks on her face; the cuts on her lips where apparently she’d bitten them. …her cracked and swollen lips…Karras shifted his gaze to the tangled, thickly matted hair.

James Bond, Casino Royal & Moonraker, Ian Fleming (not horror, but still)

“Bond reminds me rather of Hoagy Carmichael, but there is something cold and ruthless” …As he tied his thin, double-ended, black satin tie, he paused for a moment and examined himself levelly in the mirror. His grey-blue eyes looked calmly back with a hint of ironical inquiry and the short lock of black hair which would never stay in place slowly subsided to form a thick comma above his right eyebrow. With the thin vertical scar down his right cheek the general effect was faintly piratical. Not much of Hoagy Carmichael there, thought Bond, as he filled a flat, light gunmetal box with fifty of the Morland cigarettes with the triple gold band. (Casino Royal)

Rather like Hoagy Carmichael in a way. That black hair falling down over the right eyebrow. Much the same bones. But there was something a bit cruel in the mouth, and the eyes were cold. (Moonraker)

Lestat de Lioncourt , The Vampire Lestat, Anne Rice

I have thick blond hair, not quite shoulder length, and rather curly, which appears white under fluorescent light. My eyes are gray, but they absorb the colors blue or violet easily from surfaces around them. And I have a fairly short narrow nose, and a mouth that is well shaped but just a little too big for my face. It can look very mean, or extremely generous, my mouth.

Carrie White, Carrie, Stephen King

What did that woman do to her? Then I feel sick and sorry. She was so pretty, with pink cheeks and bright brown eyes, and her hair the shade of blonde you know will darken and get mousy…But he saw for the first time (because it was the first time he had really looked) that she was far from repulsive. Her face was round rather than oval, and the eyes were so dark that they seemed to cast shadows beneath them, like bruises. Her hair was darkish blonde, slightly wiry. The lips were full, almost lush. Her body, for the most part, was indeterminate…Her hair stuck to her cheeks in a curving helmet shape. At sixteen, the elusive stamp of hurt was already marked clearly in her eyes.

Again, brrr…

That Regan one especially makes my skin crawl. Creepy little… Anyhow, you can check a whole lot more of this artist's work on his official Tumblr account RIGHT HERE.

Enjoy?

There, that's better.
