Critters 2 (1988) Easter Horror – The Black Sheep

Easter weekend is upon us folks, and what better way to celebrate than with one of the best and most underrated Easter horror movies, Critters 2 (WATCH IT HERE OWN IT HERE). Critters (WATCH IT HERE OWN IT HERE) hit theaters in 1986 and did surprisingly well. After its success at the box office and boom on VHS, a sequel was inevitable. Enter Mick Garris in his directorial debut with the fun, inventive, and Easter-themed sequel, Critters 2: The Main Course or just plainly, Critters 2.

Following the path of some of the best genre sequels, Critters 2 turns up the action, thrills and updates the Krites themselves into the adorable murderous porcupines you know and love today. As famous as the original Critters is, the Krites design and style the series is known for were developed and perfected in this sequel. It has a cult following but deserves a helluva lot more.
