Dante Tomaselli talks new album, Alice Sweet Alice re-release and remake!

Writer, Director and Composer DANTE TOMASELLI has completed his fifth album of sensory electronic music called OUT-OF-BODY EXPERIENCE and it is available now on CD and digital download (Amazon, iTunes, Spotify, etc.) for all to relish. Dante had this to say about the album…

Out-of-Body Experience took a full year to create – just me alone in my home studio – and then another four months to master (with my loyal ex-piano teacher, sound engineer, Don Olson, who's worked on all my albums). From the outset, I knew I wanted this album to be more melodic than the others. It takes place in 1979/1980/1981/1982 when I was 9, 10, 11, 12…the time of the birth of video games, arcades and Atari. Synthesizer sounds were fresh and exciting and I was drawn like a magnet. Those analogue sounds fill the space of this album. Probably the best way to absorb Out-of-Body Experience is resting in a reclining chair on a balcony, gazing at the sky.

Moreover, his cousin's film ALICE SWEET ALICE is being re-released on Blu-Ray this August and Dante commented on the release and the impending remake!

Be on the look out for my cousin's film, Alice, Sweet Alice.  It's coming out on Blu-ray in August through Arrow Video and I witnessed exclusive clips of the restoration print – it looks incredible! Michael Gingold, who's in charge of the Arrow Video featurettes came to my house in south new jersey and interviewed me on video for one of Blu-ray extras/featurettes. I spoke lovingly of my cousin's 70's Catholic horror film.  My cousin and I still have a remake in the cards and we're in talks about releasing official Alice, Sweet Alice Halloween masks with Trick or Treat's Justin Mabry.

Sounds great to us! You can pre-order Alice Sweet Alice here!
