Do you know how to sew? Because Luke Cage’s SDCC poster is ripped

Marvel made sure to give Luke Cage a lot of muscles for the San Diego Comic-Con poster they plan to roll out for fans later this week on the floor of the San Diego Convention Center for the character's solo series set to debut in the not-so-distant future.

Designed by Marvel chief creative officer and comic book artist Joe Quesada, the imagery uses Luke Cage's trademark yellow to  outline Cage's profile in addition to his build, which might be a little generous in proportion to how LUKE CAGE star Mike Colter actually looks. But hey… When hasn't a little hyperbole been added to a comic book character to make them seem larger than life?

According to Quesada, "You’ve got one shot to encapsulate a character with a pose that’s provocative and that you hope will someday be iconic."

It's up to you to decide if Marvel has been successful on that front.

The poster will be available at Marvel's booth at Comic-Con while supplies last, and LUKE CAGE debuts on Netflix on September 30, 2016.
