Elizabeth Banks and Morgan Freeman lend their voices to the Lego movie

Elizabeth Banks and Morgan Freeman have signed on to lend their voices to the upcoming LEGO movie.

There aren’t many details on the animated LEGO film; we don’t even have a title as of yet. Chris Pratt and Will Arnett are also attached to lend their pipes to the family adventure as well. I wonder who else they will get for the cast. They already have four greats.

Here’s the plot: “an ordinary Lego mini-figure, mistakenly thought to be the extraordinary MasterBuilder, is recruited to join a quest to stop an evil Lego tyrant from gluing the universe together. Freeman will voice a character called Vitruvius and they will join Chris Pratt and Will Arnett in the film. Latter reportedly plays a Lego version of Batman.”

It won’t be too shabby since Phil Lord and Christopher Miller (21 JUMP STREET, CLOUDY WITH A CHANCE OF MEATBALLS) are directing. The film is set to release in theaters on February 28, 2014.
