Exclusive 1:1 Interview with Zero Dark Thirty star Jason Clarke

The name Jason Clarke may not be familiar, but the face almost certainly is. The Australian actor made a splash here in the states with his portrayal as Tommy Caffeee in Showtime’s “Brotherhood”, and has since gone on to tackle a variety of different projects, such as DEATH RACE, PUBLIC ENEMIES and LAWLESS. His most consequential movie up until this point, however, is undoubtedly ZERO DARK THIRTY, in which he plays an American operative whose responsibility it is to extract information from a suspected terrorist by any means necessary. And that includes torture.

Sitting down with Mr. Clarke was a sincere pleasure; you’ll see that he’s an engaging and enthusiastic sort, the rare actor who appears to be completely down to earth and humble about his growing success. Watch as we talk about the intensity of shooting those (controversial) torture scenes and filming on location in some of the hottest regions on earth. And I couldn’t resist bringing up his next film, a little number called WHITE HOUSE DOWN, directed by Roland Emmerich and starring Channing Tatum and Jamie Foxx.
