In Inner Demon, a teenage girl is abducted by a serial killer couple. She manages to escape and find refuge in an isolated farmhouse, only to discover it is home to greater horrors and a malevolent spirit. According to the trivia section of the movie’s IMDb page, Inner Demon is “loosely based on the Truro murders in which seven women were hunted down and murdered in bushland east of the town of Truro in South Australia over a two-month period in 1976-1977 by Christopher Worrell and James Miller.”
In Devils Acid, a drunk father tells his son a bedtime story about a group of people spending the night at a haunted prison, where they all take “Devil’s Acid.” They then start having problems differentiating between reality and the trip.

Scare Zone has the following synopsis: Every Halloween season, thousands of haunted house attractions of various kinds open up across the United States. Yet we still have very few great horror movies set at haunted house attractions. So here’s a suggestion-slash-plea that goes out to every aspiring filmmaker: if you have access to a haunted attraction, make a movie there! That’s what writer/director Jon Binkowski did back in the day, and the result was the Scare Zone slasher.
Scare Zone was filmed at a maze built for the Halloween Horror Nights event at the Universal Orlando Resort. Halloween came and went, but the owners wanted to keep the maze intact so they could show it off at a theme park convention in late November, so it was just going to be sitting empty for a few weeks. And that’s when Binkowski swooped in. He had always been unnerved when walking through haunted house attractions, not just because of the haunt actors jumping out at him at every turn. He was uneasy because he always had the thought in the back of his mind, wondering if there was really an axe-wielding killer hiding among the haunt’s employees, ready to strike down the paying guests. So he put that fear down on the page and rushed Scare Zone into production.
The Last Compartment was written and directed by Andreas Schaap, who made a long list of short films before making his feature debut with the horror comedy Must Love Death in 2009. He followed that up with the comedy Tim Sander Goes to Hollywood before making his way to darker material with this flick. The story he crafted for this one is set in 1986 and has the following synopsis:
After an avalanche hits their train in the alps, 30-year-old Greta and five strangers find themselves trapped in the last train car, buried underneath the snow. On the radio, they learn that a rescue operation is underway, but for some reason, the last compartment seems to have disappeared from the face of the earth. As we follow their attempts to escape their icy prison, we begin to understand that there is more to the compartment than meets the eye…
The Last Compartment stars Anna Fischer, Nic Romm, Tim Sander, Ernst-Georg Schwill, Barbara Prakopenka, Andreas Hilscher, and Annelinde Gerstl.
