According to Deadline we can expect to see a sequel to Tommy Wirkola’s fairy-tale horror-actioneer HANSEL & GRETEL: WITCH HUNTERS because after its massive success at the box office in which it raked in $205 million worldwide – why not?
After getting a taste for blood as children, Hansel (Jeremy Renner) and Gretel (Gemma Arterton) have become the ultimate vigilantes, hell bent on retribution. Now, unbeknownst to them, Hansel and Gretel have become the hunted, and must face an evil far greater than witches…their past.
Right now it’s obviously too early to say whether or not we’ll be seeing Gemma Arterton and Jeremy Renner return to their roles but something tells me that there’s a good chance we see them again as they were definitely a huge part of the films success in the first place.
