A facehugger strikes in new Alien: Covenant clip

The following ALIEN: COVENANT clip may be considered a tad spoilery, so consider this a warning. That said, it is official, so obviously Fox doesn't mind you seeing it.

In said clip, Demian Bichir meets a dastardly facehugger up close and personal and learns one of its most vicious secrets: that it has acid for blood. Hey, everyone usually finds out one way or another.

Ridley Scott returns to the universe he created, with ALIEN: COVENANT, a new chapter in his groundbreaking ALIEN franchise. The crew of the colony ship Covenant, bound for a remote planet on the far side of the galaxy, discovers what they think is an uncharted paradise, but is actually a dark, dangerous world. When they uncover a threat beyond their imagination, they must attempt a harrowing escape.

Our Jake Dee gave the film a sterling 9/10 rating and called it the best Alien film in 30 years. My review will be hitting next week and shall be… less favorable.
