American Horror Story: Asylum gets four new promo pics

God, AMERICAN HORROR STORY: ASYLUM looks amazing. Not to knock this fall’s batch of horror films slated to hit theaters, but every bit of news we receive on the second season of the FX series simply blows it all out of the water in terms of style and creepiness. Who can stay excited about a bunch of stale ghost/possession movies when we have evil nuns, body parts, an M.C. Escher homage, and a bath tub shaped like a vagina being thrown in our face?

Such is the allure of the new slate of ASYLUM promo ads. They make me want to close my blinds, throw on Goblin’s SUSPIRIA soundtrack and hypnotically stare at my computer monitor for the next three hours. Who cares that it’s not even noon? I’m declaring it AMERICAN HORROR STORY: ASYLUM promo ad day! Who’s with me?

Evan Peters, Zachary Quinto, Sarah Paulson, Lily Rabe, and Jessica Lange are returning for the new season, which also adds Joseph Fiennes, Adam Levine, James Cromwell, Chloe Sevigny (see below), Clea DuVall, and Franka Potente. The series air date starts October 17th, so make a note of it before you enjoy the pictures below.
