We've been receiving an unusual lack of detail on season 6 of American Horror Story. Although the theme is still a complete mystery (maybe they're retooling after Hotel and Freak Show collapsed in on themselves), we at least have an official release date! AHS 6 (which recently released the frustratingly indifferent logo you see above) will premiere on FX on Wednesday, September 14 at 10PM.
Lady Gaga, Kathy Bates, Denis O’Hare, Angela Bassett, Sarah Paulson, Finn Wittrock, Wes Bentley, Cheyenne Jackson, Leslie Jordan, and Matt Bomer will all return for the sixth season, which is "working with two ideas at once" and might involve "the opera" in some way.
