Argento’s Stendhal Syndrome gets 3-Disc Limited Edition w/ tons of features!

Truth be told, I have not yet seen Dario Argento's 1996 Giallo THE STENDHAL SYNDROME, starring his daughter Asia Argento.

It has always been on my list, but no one ever seems to recommend it, so I guess I'm posting this not only to let fans know about the new edition (details below) but also to see if I should put it above TRAUMA on my "Argento flicks to watch asap" list.

THE STENDHAL SYNDROME synopsis:

When beautiful police detective Anna Manni follows the bloody trail of a sophisticated serial murderer/rapist through the streets of Italy, the young woman falls victim to the bizarre "Stendhal Syndrome" – a hallucinatory phenomenon which causes her to lose her mind and memory in the presence of powerful works of art. Trapped in this twilight realm, Anna plunges deeper and deeper into sexual psychosis, until she comes to know the killer's madness more intimately than she ever imagined. 

THE STENDHAL SYNDROME was directed by Dario Argento and stars his daughter Asia Argento along with Thomas Kretschmann and Marco Leonardi. The 3-Disc Limited Edtion hits July 25.
