Avengers: Infinity War Ariana Greenblatt

Actress Ariana Greenblatt isn't quite 12 years old yet, but in the few years she has been working she has already been cast in a couple high profile films – AVENGERS: INFINITY WAR (in which she played the child Gamora, pictured above), A BAD MOMS CHRISTMAS – appeared in 57 episodes of the Disney series Stuck in the Middle, and was even a "star" on Dancing with the Stars: Junior… which is a show I didn't even know existed.

Now Greenblatt has signed on to play a character called Minnow in the Paramount Players / 21 Laps Entertainment project MONSTER PROBLEMS, which is aiming to start a franchise of films set during a monster apocalypse.

Set to be directed by Michael Matthews from a screenplay by Brian Duffield and Matthew Robinson, MONSTER PROBLEMS is

a coming of age feature film about a young man living in a post-apocalyptic world overrun by monsters.

As we reported yesterday, Michael Rooker and Dylan O'Brien are also set to star in MONSTER PROBLEMS, with Rooker taking on the role of

Clyde, an expert hunter who teaches Joel Dawson (O’Brien) how to survive the Monster Apocalypse.

Greenblatt is the daughter of Shon Greenblatt, who genre fans may remember as John Doe in FREDDY'S DEAD. Hopefully Minnow will have better luck against the creatures in MONSTER PROBLEMS than John Doe had when he ran into Freddy.
