Cathy's Curse finally hits Blu-ray Aprill 11th

This is what I love about the horror genre. I feel as if I have seen EVERYTHING by this point. Every. Thing. But then, like clockwork, a new classic rises up from the pits of obscurity and makes itself known. This week, the new classic is called CATHY'S CURSE

I have not yet checked out the movie because I don't know where to find a copy of it. That is, until this new special edition Blu-ray hits on April 11th. P.S. If you know where I can get a streaming copy, or even an old VHS (old VHS is better!) drop me a line at [email protected].

Until then, I'll have to just wait it out for this edition to hit. Can't say I'm not excited to check out this edition either way, as HorrorMovieADay's Brian Collins called this flick his top favorite good/bad movie. So much so that he does a guest commentary track on the release.

Along with YOU'RE NEXT and THE GUEST screenwriter/producer Simon Barrett.

Yeah, now you're intrigued, right? I don't normally post the full press-releases for these Blu-rays, but I enjoy the writing of this one a but too much to sum it up. So just go ahead and peep the full press release and the details on the Blu-ray below.

And, seriously, let me know where I can see this movie asap. Thanks!

CATHY'S CURSE: the Press Release:

On April 11th, Severin Films will possess the souls of genre fans with the first ever fully restored presentation of Canadian nightmare generator CATHY’S CURSE. Forget what you’ve seen in blurry bootlegs and crappy budget packs. This first- ever restoration of the depraved Canadian shocker is being hailed as the genre rediscovery of the year.
