Check it! Mimobot designer USB drives = dope!

Last Updated on July 23, 2021

FULL DISCLOSURE: I’m not getting a percentage off sales, I bought my own MIMOBOT flash drive, nobody gave me a hand job to write this story…I did it cause I genuinly thought this was cool, wanted to back em up and the chick at the booth was cute 😉 Just wanted to beat the cynics to the punch.

While at this year’s SAN DIEGO COMIC CON, JoBlo dragged my drunken ass to a booth on the main floor, the MIMOBOT booth that is. What were they peddling? A line of gnarly designer USB flash drives! I found them to be pretty damn dope, so I took some pics (I made the booth girl pose that way. Why? Cause I’m that guy!), contacted the peeps to get more info and even bought myself a slick MEGATRON USB stick.

MIMOBOT offers USB flash drives as characters from TRANSFORMERS, BATMAN, STAR WARS, HELLO KITTY and more! Previously only available in up to 16GB capacities, they now have 32GB and 64GB versions. All MIMOBOT drives come pre-loaded with exclusive series-based content like wallpapers, screensavers, soundbytes etc.

My Mimobot. No he doesn’t transform into a gun…but he sure holds a lot of porn…

Here’s the 411 on their new STAR WARS series:

“MIMOBOT® line of designer USB flash drives, unveiled new editions of its popular Star Wars™ and Hello Kitty® collections, along with increased storage capacities across its entire flash drive product line. Mimoco is offering exclusive limited edition products, gifts with purchase, and celebrity signings at their Comic-Con booths, #4936 in the Toy Growers Cultyard, and #2913M in the Star Wars Pavilion.

The new Star Wars MIMOBOT Series 7 features a product offering based on many iconic characters from Star Wars Episode VI: Return of the Jedi. Leading off is Han Solo MIMOBOT with Carbonite carrying case, a key-chain accessory that encases Han Solo in a sculpted plastic protective block re-imagining a new use for the famous frozen intergalactic smuggler. For the first time in MIMOBOT form is Lando Calrissian, Solo’s redeemed friend who aids in his rescue and pilots the Millennium Falcon helping to destroy the Death Star.

Also joining in the fight against the Galactic Empire is Princess Leia MIMOBOT, disguised as the bounty hunter Boushh, ready to save the one she loves from the clutches of Jabba the Hutt. Lastly, the fan-favorite Boba Fett has been reissued in Return of the Jedi styling, updated with a new battle-scarred suit and more intimidating scowl. These new additions join previously announced SDCC exclusive Trandoshan bounty-hunter Bossk.”
