Check out some new pics from Looper, starring Willis & Gordon-Levitt

Rian Johnson’s sci-fi crime-thriller LOOPER is still a good couple of months away from its September release date, so it’s no wonder bits & pieces of media from the flick keep trickling out. We’ve already seen some stills and a trailer, but why not check out a couple of new images, including a set photo. It seems like every time we show you new stills from the movie, at least one of them has a cast member aiming a gun at something, which is probably a good sign. Scope out the pics above & below.

In the futuristic action thriller Looper, time travel will be invented – but it will be illegal and only available on the black market. When the mob wants to get rid of someone, they will send their target 30 years into the past, where a “looper” – a hired gun, like Joe (Joseph Gordon-Levitt) – is waiting to mop up. Joe is getting rich and life is good… until the day the mob decides to “close the loop,” sending back Joe’s future self (Bruce Willis) for assassination. The film is written and directed by Rian Johnson and also stars Emily Blunt (pictured below), Paul Dano, and Jeff Daniels. Ram Bergman and James D. Stern produce.

LOOPER opens on September 28th.
