We've been keeping our eye on the upcoming revenge thriller COLD IN JULY, an adaptation of the cult-classic novel by Joe R. Lansdale (BUBBA HO-TEP) from WE ARE WHAT WE ARE director Jim Mickle, and today we have a look at the beautifully minimalist and noirish festival poster to share with you.
Starring Michael C. Hall, Sam Shepard, Don Johnson and Vinessa Shaw, the film is a throwback dramatic thriller set in 1989 that follows…
…an ordinary small town man whose life is changed when he kills a burglar who breaks into his home. However, it turns out the man he killed is the son of a fearsome convict, recently released from prison, and he'll have to protect his family from the ex-con seeking revenge.
The film just made its premiere at the Sundance Film Festival so hopefully we'll be hearing some word on distribution news soon.
