Check out the first poster for Bong Joon-ho’s SnowPiercer

Last Updated on August 2, 2021

Bong Joon-ho’s SNOWPIERCER, the post-apocalyptic thriller about the remnants of humanity who ride aboard a nonstop train, has unveiled its first poster, and the folks at Twitch.net got their meaty paws on it. Just a promo quad, looks like, but it gives you an idea of the crowded, uncomfortable conditions on the train – at least for the have-nots.

Starring Chris Evans, Song Kang-ho, Tilda Swinton, Jamie Bell, Octavia Spencer, Ewen Bremner, Alison Pill, John Hurt and Ed Harris, SNOWPIERCER has not received any official release dates yet, but the Weinstein Company controls the rights here in North America and evidently plan to give it a summer release. There’s a pretty good chance it will make an appearance at the Cannes Film Festival in May, so look for more news around that time.

War has ravaged the world, which is now covered completely in snow. The only means for survival is to board the Snowpiercer, but the train only has 1001 coaches. On the train, the poor wallow in misery in the lower decks, while the rich lives in decadence in the upper decks. Then their two worlds start to collide …
