Full Moon's found footage joint Reel Evil gets a trailer

The trailer for REEL EVIL is here and I gotta say, it doesn't look half bad. Sure, the concept is derivative, but director Danny Draven appears to have put a lot of thought and polish into the execution of the film. Also, he held back on the inclusion of puppets of killer bongs-- a very bold move for a contemporary Full Moon feature.

The film stars Jamie Bernadette, Jessica Morris, Kaiwi Lyman, Jim Tavaré, Kyle Morris, Christian Edsall, and Sandra Hinojosa. REEL EVIL appears on store shelves December 4th, so mark the date. While you're at it, check out the trailer and synopsis below.

Reel Evil follows struggling filmmakers Kennedy, Cory and James, who finally catch the break they are looking for when they are hired to shoot a behind-the-scenes documentary for a major studio production. But their dream job quickly turns into a nightmare when they explore the legendary haunted location and find something far worse than anything Hollywood could create. Terror becomes reality for the filmmakers as they uncover the malevolent secrets of the hospital and the sinister doctor who once ran it.

Extra Tidbit: Danny Draven also wrote THE BOOK OF THE DEAD, an indispensable guide to indie horror filmmaking.
