Robert Rodriguez is, as ever, busy with a plethora of projects that he’s tackling simultaneously. In the last few weeks, we’ve gotten several pieces of casting news for his imminent directorial efforts: SIN CITY: A DAME TO KILL FOR and MACHETE KILLS. It looks as though the latter will get underway first, but both are sure to be generating headlines all summer long.

Promo posters for the flicks have arrived online; you can peep them below. Nothing phenomenal at this point, but we’ve got some waiting to do before we’re witness to anything substantial from the sequels.

SIN CITY: A DAME TO KILL FOR will be co-directed by Frank Miller and stars Jessica Alba, Mickey Rourke and Rosario Dawson.

MACHETE KILLS stars Danny Trejo, Michelle Rodriguez, Jessica Alba, Sofia Vergara, Demian Bechir, Amber Heard and Mel Gibson.
