Chris Pratt says Jurassic World 3 is going to be epic

Director Colin Trevorrow's JURASSIC WORLD 3 will be reaching the mainland in June 2021, and if the final images from the previous entry in the rebooted JURASSIC PARK series, JURASSIC WORLD: FALLEN KINGDOM come to fruition then it's going to be one hell of a time at the movies. And it seems like the third film has every intention of following through with the second movie's ending – meaning dinosaurs running wild through your backyard. That is if you believe what star Chris Pratt (GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY) has to say on the matter.

Pratt recently spoke about JURASSIC WORLD 3 and here's what he threw out there:

I can’t say anything, but I can tell you when I heard the pitch, I was blown away. I can’t believe that we’re going to make that movie, and I can’t believe they found a way to deliver on the promise of the end of Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom. Like, ‘Wait, what? The island has blown up. The animals are out, we can’t put them back in the box. What are we going to do? How are not only these dinosaurs, but this technology moving forward going to affect the planet?’ We jump forward, and it’s like, ‘Oh! Oh, right! Oh, damn!’ [Trevorrow] has been working his butt off on it and it’s going to be pretty epic.

I don't know about you but I'm sure as shit glad to hear this. After all, I don't think I'm alone in thinking, after the epic ending of Speilberg's THE LOST WORLD, that JURASSIC PARK 3 was going to go the whole dinosaurs on the mainland eating all kinds of ass route. But that didn't happen… Let's hope JURASSIC WORLD 3 has fun with the premise ala the first WORLD film and isn't as damn serious as FALLEN KINGDOM.

Trevorrow directs JURASSIC WORLD 3 from a screenplay that he's currently writing along with Carmichael and JURASSIC WORLD and JURASSIC WORLD: FALLEN KINGDOM co-scribe Derek Connolly. Mega movie stars Bryce Dallas Howard and Chris Pratt are expected to return and Patrick Crowley and Frank Marshall will produce with Steven Spielberg and Trevorrow serving as the third film's executive producers.
