Curtis Jackson, a.k.a. 50 Cent, might be taking on The Predator

THE PREDATOR, director Shane Black's large scale, event picture "inventive sequel" to the 1987 classic PREDATOR, will soon be heading into production for a March 2, 2018 release. While Black is keeping secret the details of the story that he has written up with his THE MONSTER SQUAD co-writer Fred Dekker and it's unclear if Arnold Schwarzenegger's meeting with him will lead to Arnie joining the project, one person who seems certain that there's a role in THE PREDATOR that would be right for him is rapper/actor Curtis "50 Cent" Jackson.

During two recent interviews, one with Sirius XM's Shade 45 and the other with 99 Jamz UnCensored, Jackson brought up the possibility that he will be in the film.

You heard of the movie Predator? I might be a part of that project this summer."

I haven't seen many of the 29 acting credits Jackson currently has to his name, but I did see him in ESCAPE PLAN, which happened to co-star Arnold Schwarzenegger. I thought he did a decent job in that movie. Although there was quite a backlash online when Sylvester Stallone brought up the fact that he was considering casting Jackson in THE EXPENDABLES, the guy seems to have some skill, and I wouldn't be averse to seeing him in THE PREDATOR.
