Back at the very beginning of March, we shared the trailer for David Fincher's upcoming Netflix serial killer thriller series MINDHUNTER. Back in that article, we told you guys that the series was set to hit "sometime this October", but today we can confirm the series will be released Friday, October 13th!

That's right, Fincher's new serial killer yarn debuts on Friday the 13th.

I don't know about you, but I am a mega fan of anything David Fincher puts out and his serial killer films (SEVEN and ZODIAC) are debatably his best works. The man knows serial killers, what can we say?

For those who might not know, MINDHUNTER is based on the book Mind Hunter: Inside FBI’s Elite Serial Crime Unit written by Mark Olshaker and John E. Douglas. If you're super interested in these kinds of things, you can purchase the book HERE.

Until then you can peep the show's trailer below and then let us know how excited you are for David Fincher's MINDHUNTER on Facebook, Twitter, and/or Instagram!

MINDHUNTER series synopsis:

The series will be set in 1979 and will revolve around two FBI agents, played by Jonathan Groff and Holt McCallany, who interview imprisoned serial killers to try to solve ongoing cases.

MINDHUNTER comes from executive producers David Fincher and Charlize Theron and stars Jonathan Groff, Holt McCallany, Anna Torv, Hannah Gross, and Cotter Smith.
