Dimension gives Scott Stewart’s a Dark Skies 2013 release date

Last Updated on August 5, 2021

Dimension Films, always shady when it comes to release dates, has decided to bestow one upon Scott Stewart’s alien abduction drama DARK SKIES anyway. Let us not mark it down in pen just yet.

The film, which comes from the team behind PARANORMAL ACTIVITY and INSIDIOUS (don’t they produce everything these days?) stars Keri Russell (pictured above), J.K. Simmons and Josh Hamilton. It will open on FEBRUARY 22, 2013. That’s opposite Dwayne “the Rock” Johnson’s action flick, SNITCH.

DARK SKIES is a psychological thriller about a suburban couple whose lives become a nightmare when a terrifying alien presence enters their home each night to prey upon their children. Increasingly isolated from skeptical friends and neighbors, the couple is forced to take matters into their own hands to save their family.

We can most likely expect a teaser trailer in the near future.
