Where all the hoes at, we’re rolling to the GARDEN DISTRICT

Dimension has just raked in a low-budget spec-script from Anthony Jawsinski and Luke Goltz called GARDEN DISTRICT. In the film, after a mysterious video of a vampire’s execution goes viral,  a trio of young, ambitious myth-debunkers head to New Orleans to find out if the video was real or fake.  They soon find themselves up against dark forces and in over their heads.

A director has yet to be attached, but David Kirschner and Corey Sienega will produce, with Matt Signer supervising for Dimension.

Jawsinki has a few notable genre credits to his name. He wrote KILLING TIME, TV movies BACKWOODS and XTRA CREDIT, and most recently penned VANISHING ON 7TH STREET for Brad Anderson. Goltz on the other hand has a single credit, co-writing the 2011 flick YOU AND I.

Alright, so what do you think about the setup for GARDEN DISTRICT? You think the myth-busting/ghost-hunting format is a good one to feature in movies? Is it better left for TV?

YOU AND I star Mischa Barton
