Don't feed the Squirrels! New poster for Timur Bekmambetov-produced film is nuts!

To go along with that insane sales trailer for the Timur Bekmambetov-produced SQUIRRELS that we shared with you earlier this week, we now have a poster for the film that warns you to "Hold On To Your Nuts".

SQUIRRELS is a new horror-thriller coming at us from Red Sea Media and written by Daniel Antoniazzi & Ben Shiffrin, based on an idea by Bekmambetov. Bekmambetov is best known as the director of the international hits NIGHT WATCH, WANTED and ABRAHAM LINCOLN: VAMPIRE HUNTER and will be producing through his production company Bazelevs.

When a young man’s estranged father is killed under suspicious circumstances, he returns home for the first time in years to get to the bottom of the mystery.  Hoping to uncover some logical explanation, he instead finds his mom’s sleazy new boyfriend, a natural gas company buying up the town, an angry female sheriff who happens to be his ex-girlfriend, and an army of flesh-eating squirrels hellbent on destroying everything in their path due to an erosion of their food chain as a result of environmental destruction by the gas company.

The film is in pre-production. No director has been named yet, but we'll keep you updated on news regarding this insane-sounding flick as we hear it. Peep the poster below.

Extra Tidbit: Does SQUIRRELS sound like your kinda flick?
