Exclusive: Behind-the-scenes featurette of the UK horror flick The Hike

If you watch horror films, you probably know that going into the woods for any reason at all typically yields bad results. If it isn’t monsters, aliens or ghosts that get you, its something even worse-- the locals. Such is the premise of THE HIKE, a UK take on the on the “Don’t go in the woods” subgenre that has finally arrived on VOD. Being the caustic campers that we are, an exclusive behind-the-scenes featurette on the making of the movie is available for your viewing pleasure below.

The film stars Barbara Nedeljakova (HOSTEL) and Shauna Macdonald (THE DESCENT) and is directed Rupert Bryan. THE HIKE tells the story of a group of girlfriends who head to the British countryside to camp. They encounter strange and evasive locals living off the land, as well as with three charming guys out for a rock-climbing adventurers. As darkness falls, the girls will be forced to rely on each other and their new friends before it becomes the last hike of their lives.
