Exclusive: Trailer for Irish supernatural thriller The Perished

Following an impressive festival run, writer/director Paddy Murphy's supernatural horror thriller THE PERISHED is set to receive a release in North America on April 7th, courtesy of The Horror Collective – and today we have the EXCLUSIVE first look at the film's trailer, embedded above.

THE PERISHED stars Courtney McKeon in the story of 

a young Irish woman named Sarah Dekker, who finds herself dealing with an unwanted pregnancy, her subsequent abortion, and the consequences of a judgemental society.

McKeon is joined in the cast by Flach Kunz, Paul Fitzgerald, and Lisa Tyyrell.

Murphy produced the film alongside Barry Fahy and Vachn Gill.

Entertainment Focus has said that the film gave them HELLRAISER vibes, while filmmaker Joe Lynch said THE PERISHED is "like if Ken Loach remade DON'T LOOK NOW."
