Fear Paris anthology taps Ryuhei Kitamura & William Brent Bell to direct

Earlier this year we brought you the first word and an early teaser trailer for the upcoming anthology FEAR PARIS, a genre bending horror anthology that will see some amazing talent behind the camera as directors Joe Dante (GREMLINS), Xavier Gens (FRONTIERS), and Timo Vuorensola (IRON SKY) will each present a Paris unlike anything seen before, in a combination of fantasy, horror and science fiction. Now two more names have joined on to present their twisted take on the City of Light as the film has enlisted NO ONE LIVES director Ryuhei Kitamura and THE DEVIL INSIDE's William Brent Bell to helm segments of the anthology, according to BD.

The producers behind PARANORMAL ACTIVITY, INSIDIOUS, and THE ICEMAN join forces on FEAR PARIS, an ambitious new film of unique interconnected stories exploring the dark underbelly of the city of lights. Casting is under way as the film will go into production this Summer/Fall.

Laura Rister (Untitled Entertainment) and Ehud Bleiberg (Bleiberg Entertainment), together with Steven Schneider (Vicarious Entertainment) join Darryn Welch (Instinctive Film) to produce the film.

Tony Noble (MOON) is the production designer. Kristyan Mallet (PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN, HARRY POTTER) is onboard for special effects makeup and prosthetics.

The imaginative world will be created in collaboration with the great visual effects minds at Pixomondo (HUGO) and Prime Focus (GRAVITY, JUDGE DREDD). Richard Raaphorst (FRANKENSTEIN'S ARMY) is the concept designer.

I'm always down for a new anthology, especially when this level of talent is involved. Bring it on! I'm ready to FEAR PARIS! Check out the sales trailer for the project below.

Extra Tidbit: Does this line-up of directing talent have you eager to check out FEAR PARIS?
