First artwork for Spring, starring Lou Taylor Pucci

Last Updated on July 22, 2021

Earlier today we got a first look at the upcoming sci-fi horror flick, SPRING, from directing tandem Justin Benson and Aaron Moorhead who brought us the brilliant indie film RESOLUTION. Now we have the first piece of art to go along with it, and it's quite cool! As you guys should know by now, I like to give movie posters a hard time because a lot of them are pretty terrible. That being said, I'm a big fan of the first artwork for SPRING. It's definitely on the artsy side, and I can't help but feel like it's trying to tell us something. What could it be? Much like the film itself, the poster is quite a mystery, and that's exactly why I'm so damn excited about it.

If you're not psyched about what both Benson and Moorhead have up their sleeves with SPRING, then there's a good chance you haven't seen RESOLUTION yet, which is something you should probably fix. And you can do that RIGHT HERE!

We don't know a whole lot about SPRING other than it follows a…

young man in a personal tailspin as he flees Southern California to the Italian coast, where he sparks up a romance with a woman carrying a dark secret.

I woman with a dark secret? Does the poster give us a hint? So many questions, so little answers! The film stars EVIL DEAD's Lou Taylor Pucci as well as Nadia Hilker. Shooting will conclude in Los Angeles in January. Look for more soon!
