First concept art from Xavier Gens’ Cold Skin gives us a look at the creature

Last Updated on August 5, 2021

We know there’s a big-screen adaptation on the way of Albert Sánchez Piñol’s novel COLD SKIN. Only problem is we haven’t heard zilch from the project since September!

Now don’t get excited by today’s update because there still doesn’t seem to be much movement on the project. But what we do have for you guys is some new concept art from the Xavier Gens film! Better than nothing, right? The art, found directly below, comes courtesy of Jonathan Delerue and gives us a small look at a creature from the film. Pretty intriguing if you ask me… Scroll on down below to get a look at the picture for yourself.

On the edge of the Antarctic Circle, in the years after World War One, a steamship approaches a desolate island far from all shipping lanes. On board is a young man, on his way to assume the post of weather observer, to live in solitude at the end of the earth. But on shore he finds no trace of the man whom he has been sent to replace, just a deranged castaway who has witnessed a horror he refuses to name. For the next twelve months his entire world will consist of a deserted cabin, trees, rocks, silence and the surrounding sea. Then night begins to fall…

No telling when filming will get started on COLD SKIN but you can bet as soon as we know, you will too!
