First images from Zack Parker’s Proxy escape the womb

It was almost eight months ago when we last updated you on Zack Parker’s suspense thriller PROXY, when Kristina Klebe, Joe Swanberg and Alexia Rasmussen joined the cast of the film that Parker claims will “challenge the traditional cinematic form”. In that time Parker and company completed filming and are looking to begin the films festival run this fall. Today we have a look at a handful of images from the flick (including the one above) so check out the rest below!

A very pregnant Esther Woodhouse (Rasmussen) is walking home after her latest OB appointment, when she is brutally attacked and disfigured by a hooded assailant. When Esther seeks consolation in a support group, she finds friendship and empathy in Melanie (Havins), another mother scarred with tragedy. Esther soon begins to believe that the horrific event might be a bittersweet act of fate. However, friendship and empathy can be very dangerous things when accepted by the wrong people.

PROXY stars Alexia Rasmussen, Alexa Havins, Kristina Klebe (Rob Zombie’s HALLOWEEN, BELA KISS, Adam Green’s segment of CHILLERAMA) and Joe Swanberg (V/H/S, YOU’RE NEXT, A HORRIBLE WAY TO DIE). The screenplay was penned by Parker and Kevin Donner, and is being produced by Parker’s Along The Tracks Productions and Faust Checho’s FSC Productions (THE FIELDS).
