First look at the Greg McLean-produced genre romp Crawlspace

Last Updated on August 5, 2021

Do you guys remember us telling you about a flick called CRAWLSPACE? No, not that invasion thriller. I’m talking about the Greg McLean-produced, Justin Dix directed Australian genre romp. I don’t blame you if you don’t remember this thing considering we’ve heard absolutely nothing regarding it’s production since April 2011. That’s a year people.

So what is today’s exciting update that has been a year in the making? Well a look at the flick’s first still and poster, that’s what! Now unfortunately we’ve only got a low-res version of the poster to check out, which can be found to the right. Then you can scroll on down below to get a look at the first shot from the film, which features some chick getting a gun pointed at her.

The film follows a squad of elite soldiers sent to infiltrate and extract the lead science team from Pine Gap, Australia’s top secret underground military compound, after it comes under attack from unknown forces. The mission is compromised when they encounter a young woman with no memory of who she is or how she came to be there. As they try to escape, the group quickly discovers all is not as it seems and the facility has become a testing ground for something far more sinister.

CRAWLSPACE sports a pretty unknown cast that includes Peta Sergeant (below), Nicholas Bell, David Whiteley, Amber Clayton and Eddie Baroo. Hopefully more goods from this one roll our way soon… and by soon I don’t mean another year.
