Full creative team for Aliens/Vampirella crossover comic announced

Last Updated on August 2, 2021

Two classic horror franchises are coming together in the comic book series Aliens/Vampirella from Dynamite Entertainment. Vampirella – the classic comic heroine – and the Xenomorphs – the terrifying H. R. Giger sex monsters from the ALIEN franchise – are going head to hideously distended jaw with a script by Corinna Bechko (Star Wars: Legacy), artwork by Javier García-Miranda (Vampirella #100), and cover design by Gabriel Hardman (Savage Hulk).

Says Bechko:

I couldn't be happier to be teamed with Javier. His work has an energy that is necessary for this story, and he's great at creating a really creepy feel for the scenes that require it. Plus, both his Vampirella and his Xenomorphs are gorgeous.

I'd daresay Vampirella is a tad more gorgeous, but it's good news that the Xenomorphs are in talented hands. Time will only tell if this crossover will be as successful as ALIEN VS. PREDATOR or as unsuccessful as, well, ALIENS VS. PREDATOR.

As established in Aliens / Vampirella #1, humans have begun to colonize Mars, but something ancient and sinister got there first. Vampirella, a supernatural exterminator, is faced with a mystery only she can solve… and the bloody realization that some monsters should never be awakened.

Worlds will collide in the first issue of Aliens/Vampirella in September 2015.
