Grand Piano featurette strikes a deadly note

The Elijah Wood-starring thriller GRAND PIANO has been out on VOD for a little while now but if you still haven't had the chance to see Eugenio Mira's masterful film, then we've got a new featurette that will hopefully be the push you need to check it out! In the video we hear from Elijah Wood and director Eugenio Mira where they talk about the film's style and how it's very much a nod towards the thrillers of old.

GRAND PIANO is without a doubt one of the most entertaining films that I've seen in a while. It's a thriller that actually thrills! Mira truly has an eye for suspense, giving GRAND PIANO a Hitckcockian pulse that we don't often see. He also does some amazing little tricks with the camera that would no doubt bring a smile to the face of the Master of Suspense himself—do yourselves a favor and check it out! You can watch it RIGHT HERE!

The story concerns a once-great concert pianist who suffers from stage fright and comes back to perform after a five-year hiatus. Just when he's about to play the first bar, he notices somebody has written a threatening note on his music sheet. He's now forced to play his best concert ever to save his life as well as his wife's.

The Eugenio Mira-helmed thriller was produced by Adrián Guerra and BURIED director Rodrigo Cortés.
