Guy Pearce & Maggie Grace trade witty banter in new Lockout clip

Last Updated on July 23, 2021

Damn, I thought this was a hard action flick, not an episode of “Moonlighting.” I suppose both can coexist if done well, right?

Cop a peek at an example of such in the futuristic French thriller LOCKOUT, co-written and produced by Luc Besson. In the clip you’ll see flirty banter traded between stars Guy Pearce and Maggie Grace, the former lending a sarcastic charm, the latter a tempestuous demeanor. Nothing we haven’t seen before, difference being a slightly altered setting and actors who can own the material and make it believable.

From directors James Mather and Stephen St. Leger:

LOCKOUT follows a falsely convicted ex-government agent (Pearce), whose one chance at obtaining freedom lies in the dangerous mission of rescuing the President’s daughter (Grace) from rioting convicts at an outer space maximum security prison.

Also featuring Peter Stromare, Joseph Gilgun, Lenny James, Jackie Ido and Vincent Regan – LOCKOUT recently got bumped up a week, now hitting theaters April 13th.

Your Grace!
