Harry Potter's Evanna Lynch joins Gary Oldman and Malcolm McDowell in Monster Butler

HARRY POTTER's "Luna Lovegood," Evanna Lynch, has joined the very intriguing cast of Doug Rath's MONSTER BUTLER. She joins Gary Oldman, Malcolm McDowell and Dominic Monaghan.

This marks the film's second HARRY POTTER alum; Oldman played "Sirius Black" in the massively popular film series. (Duh, says the HP faithful.)

MONSTER BUTLER will center on Roy Fontaine, a bisexual jewel thief/con man/serial killer who chronicles his personal descent into darkness leading up to his eventual capture.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, Lynch will play Fiona Carrick-Smith, who is intrigued by her upper class family’s new and seemingly all-knowing butler. Seeing him as an older, wiser confidant, she confesses her misgivings for her upcoming marriage and her longing for dangerous excitement. She soon acts on her desires with the butler, acts of reckless behaviour that lead to betrayal and tragedy.

The crime thiller begins shooting this week in Scotland.

Extra Tidbit: I'm not a gigantic HARRY POTTER fiend, but I seem to recall Lynch's character being very irritating. Am I out of bounds?
