Hatchet director Adam Green to helm Exorcism on Crooked Lake

HATCHET’s Adam Green has just been attached to helm EXORCISM ON CROOKED LAKE for Revolver Picture Company, reports Deadline. This will mark Green’s next feature following the upcoming metafictional DIGGING UP THE MARROW. I'm excited to see what Green does with this one because it already sounds like a lot more than just your typical exorcising of the demons flick as they've decided to throw a Satanic cult into the mix. I, myself, have never run into a Satanic cult, but I hear they can be a real pain in the ass when it comes to demon babies. I guess we'll just have to wait and see, huh?

The script was written by Stacy Chbosky, John Erick Dowdle and Drew Dowdle (QUARANTINE, THE COUP). It goes like this:

The story follows a middle-aged priest, a younger priest and a female medical student who head to a remote house to exorcise a young pregnant woman only to find themselves under siege from a Satanic cult looking to claim the child.

EXORCISM ON CROOKED LAKE is the fourth film from new shingle Revolver Picture Company, which debuted horror feature HAUNT earlier this year. Filming is set to begin this fall. Look for more soon!
